When you use REVA™ Study Bible, we collect the following information:

• Account Information: Name, email address, and profile picture when you sign in via Google or Apple.
• Study Data: Notes, highlights, bookmarks, study progress, commitments, and group participation data you create within the app.
• AI Interaction Data: Messages you send to AI features (REVA™ study chat, AI tools) are processed to generate responses. These are stored as part of your study history.
• Usage Data: General app usage patterns to improve performance and features.

2. How We Use AI

REVA™ Study Bible uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to provide guided study questions, original language analysis, cross-references, and passage explanations. When you interact with AI features:

• Your messages and the relevant Scripture context are sent to Anthropic's API for processing.
• Anthropic does not use your data to train their models (per their commercial API terms).
• AI-generated content (tool outputs like explanations, cross-references) is cached on our servers to improve performance and reduce costs. This cached content is not tied to individual users.
• Your REVA™ study conversations are stored in your account for study history and continuity.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Authentication is handled through Firebase Authentication (Google/Apple sign-in), and we do not store your passwords. Access to your study data requires a valid authenticated session.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

• AI Processing: Messages sent to Anthropic's API as described above.
• Group Studies: If you participate in a group study, your study notes, commitments, and insights may be visible to other group members as part of the group feature.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Export your study notes and data.

6. Children's Privacy

REVA™ Study Bible is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
